CR sebenza 21 check.

I came up on this sebenza and was told it’s fake. Any ideas

Looks wrong to me. The screws should not be torx.

The screws are wrong, the font is wrong, the clip is wrong for a 21, and where the plunge grind lines up with the frame is wrong. This is 100% bogus.

Then it was an aftermarket add or you were screwed as well. CRK has never used torx in a 21.

A friend of mine who owns a pawn shop took it in. He said another guy who “knows” knives told him it was fake. I told him I’d ask the forum and see

Well, sure looks the same as mine, which I bought from Cutting Edge, a long-standing legitimate dealer in Calgary 10 or 12 years ago. It came with all the papers, box, Allen wrench and Reeves' signature. Lost a screw a few months after I got it, and CRK kindly sent a couple replacements (32 x .266 FLAT HD SOC C/S) so it's genuine.

Pics? If it came with an Allen wrench, it wouldn't use Torx screws. I'm wondering if there's a misunderstanding, or possibly you got a real kit with a fake knife slipped into it along the way, which didn't get caught.
