Hey Piglets and HOGs,

I need some help identifying this handle material. I got this crab shack Culti in last year's grab bag and I have no idea what this is. I'm sure @Garth Reckner knows but he's probably buried under a pile of INFI or flying down a road in his race car.

That's alligator teeth brother. One of the coolest scale materials ever, had a Bunker Buster with the same stuff.

I should've known you'd know. Is it actually organic material? How is it made?

My understanding is it's gator teeth floated in resin. On the bigger pieces like mine you can see some of the profiles a little better that actually show the teeth.

Yes. They obtain the alligator teeth from extractions done by alligator dentists. {Kidding aside, it’s one of the better looking handle materials available.}

Mama says alligators are so angry cause they got all them teeth and no toothbrush. So they probably fall out a lot and are all over the ground. Should be pretty easy to find.

I have to disagree with you guys on that one.
I have a Original MS with Gator Teeth matrix handles and they look like Chad's Bunker Buster scales.

I think this Culti is a metal shavings matrix or Black Shrapnel Knife scales

No argument from me. I have not seen that material before and it explains why the "teeth" are not as defined in WatermanChris's example. Good call!
