Me and Pit Jr went crabbing again today and I took along the Koyote pass-around knife.

There was a nice boat just off the pier as we got there......if only I could win the damn lotto !

Check out the cool reflections on the underside of the pier.....

Back up on the pier I used the Koyote to cut up some fish, it sailed through the meat and with a little pressure went through the bones....

I told Pit Jr to take a pic of me from the back to show the sheath, even cropped ya still can't see it...LOL !!!!

My stomach's churning already! Cooked Chinese style with sweet/spicy/garlicky sauce over that is pure bliss!

We did lots of crabbing in Louisianna when I was a kid. Chicken necks and string. So much fun. What do you do with one?

Me Too, and in Tampa.

Just like Lobster, boil live and serve with garlic butter...at least that's my fav. You can also use them in different rice dishes cooked in some old bay sauce and butter and garlic.

Man Pit just looking at that is making want to head to Florida, I never cared if they were Stone Crabs, or Blue Crabs....both are delicious!

The Vancouver Island pics are always a treat, and make me wish I lived there/somewhere like there in a big way. Thanks for posting and keep em' coming.

Crab cakes (homemade) are my favorite, but meat dipped in garlic butter is nice too. When push comes to shove, I'll take crab over lobster.

Holy crap - you said crabbin' and I was thinking of the crabbin' I did as a kid for blue crab.... just a little bit of a size difference there. We used chicken necks and a string, probably a dozen strings tied around the outside of a little row boat - good times!

Thanks for sharing.

Oh, and that is a sweet boat sitting out there.... expensive too!
