Hi, this is the first place I go to because you guys always know how to fix things. I just got a cheap but fun AKC swinguard that has a crack near one of the pins. Not interested in replacing the scales but can anyone recommend something to stabilize the crack? Superglue or epoxy? Also a way to apply it without making a mess of the scales? You can see the crack right below the pin. It looks like the crack traverses the entire knife scale but I only feel it below the pin. Thanks for looking at this.

About all you can do with that is carefully superglue it.
Squeeze the glue onto a disposable hard surface. Pick a little up with a toothpick or similar, and gently put it in the crack-a little at a time.

Thanks Bill, that’s what I was thinking. Now you can get Superglue in .01 oz tubes.

To prevent getting super glue on the handle surface you could put on a light coat of wax on the surface first, but don't let it get into the crack!

Thanks, I’ll try that. I think the superglue will keep the crack from getting bigger.
