Cracked Mud...

That is cool! I like the new stuff makers are doing with "dressing up" blades a little, and this looks really great.

Hi Keith, how are things going?

I like the Pikuni II very much. It has always been a favorite. I like it better with no coating on the blade, but that is just the way I like my knives.

Edited because I think it looks stupid when someone leaves the s off of knives.

hehehehhehe

the freaky-er the better. I dig weirdish stuff. Thanks for the compliments guys!!

Rob does amazing stuff. I'm still trying to figure out how he does that "flattened golfball" texture on some of his handles.

Dex, is your Pikuni BC coated?

Zero

Thanks for the compliments on the knives guys. I have had a lot of fun helping develope selectively coating with the Boron Carbide. Weirdness is sometimes goodness! My wife liked Cracked Mud and I didnt think she was going to let me sell her! :D

Atomic Zero, I have been asked about the "Gunner Grip" texturing so many times I think I am going to post a how to in Shop Talk soon. It is really pretty easy to do with a little practice. I just zing then in with a dremel tool with a 3/16" ball cutter alternating the rows like bowling pins are set. Sandblasting after they are cut in evens up the finish.

Rob makes a great sheath too, the carbon fiber pattern is very cool and I really like having the choices it offers [horz and vert clips plus neck chain]

a couple much better pics:
