This is where the Cracker Jacks come from in the title, remember you get peanuts and a prize in every box of Cracker Jacks, well in that lovely triangle box that had the Gelbu there was also a Purna Yek Chirra!
True story, I'm not making this up and I got pictures to prove it.
The short review is NICE!
I almost think Thamar and Purna have to be related, both are beyond exceptionally talented.
The Yek feels in hand very similar to the Thamar Curved spine, one of my personal favorites. I don't know the weight, I found me a postal scale I'm gonna get next trip to town, but I'm sure it's similar to GB's which I think was around 30 if memory serves.
Lets get to the eye candy-
Worth noting this one was in the words of Auntie, (scary sharp), needs nothing in that department.

The bull mark and Thamars mark below.

Here's a shot of the Yek above the Thamar Curved spine for comparison. Both have very traditional line and feel very similar in balance and weight. The handles are nearly identical and just exactly the way I like them.

And just for grins a photo of a genuine WWII British Gurka knife above the Yek and the Curved spine. Scored from Gehazi for some work trade, incredibly nice shape and the sheath is near perfect as well.

Another never part, with prized blade I'm just tickled to add to my collection. Thanks so much Auntie
Also my first Bull knife, and hopefully first of many, but please don't tell my wife that, seriously, keep this under your hat.
I think I got all the pictures, photobucket is being goofy this morning and I'm no photographer, kind of fake my way through.
My recommendation on Purna to all my pals here. GET ONE! ASAP! No remorse, you'll be happy as me right now. Well maybe not quite that happy but pleased some for sure.
