Here is a tiny three blade stockman that came my way recently. I found the #9473 in my Fall 1966/Winter 1967 Sears catalog. Unfortunately, it was a tiny illustration without much description. It is carbon steel bladed with Delrin scales.

I haven't cross checked the production records yet to see the timespan, but I will.

I found it in the 1966 files, it is an Ulster 89 as seen on page 3 of our Ulster catalog. Sears ordered just over 10,000 of the little buggers for that catalog listing.

I think this Craftsman 95072 must be the latter-day iteration. It is my wife's user.

Yes, a later rendition of the same pattern, likely made by Camillus.

Here is the little 9473 with it's big brother, also c.1966, the 9470 Stockman, an Ulster 98 pattern. They ordered nearly 14,000 of these that year..

Nice ones Hal! I particularly like the Ulster 180. Sears sold nearly 40,000 of those in 1966, so you know they were popular! They retailed for $1.79 then!

Only the white MOTS knife is marked with a pattern number. It is a 183P. The one on the far right is a Van Camp.
