Craftsman 95225

Hello,

I recently purchased a Craftsman 95224 that looks a lot like my Uncle Henry 885UH.

While doing some research, I have read that it was made by Schrade, but others say Camillus.

I was wondering if anyone had any details on this knife.

Western, Schrade and Camillus (and a couple others I may be forgetting) all made knives for Sears over the years....

If it's this one, I'm pretty sure it's a Schrade. The shield, scales, and a few other things point to that. I'd guess 80's, early 90's.

That was my impression. However one blog I read mentions Schrade has a swinden key system and this particular knife has pins to secure the blades. That’s why he believed it to be made by Camillus.

FWIW: not all Schrades had the Swinden key. The LB series did not.
