Hi guys! I recently bought a Sears knife from the Sears Craftsman Eagle Collection which consisted of four knives. The one I bought is the "Deerslayer", a contract knife made by Schrade on the 165OT pattern. Another knife in the series recently sold on ebay (where else?), and I am trying to I.D. it, as well as settle my curiosity about the issue date. That second knife I am pretty sure was a Buck, though I am not sure. Help would be appreciated!

Here is the ebay number of the knife in question: 6555614028

And here is the Schrade knife in that series

Thanks!

I know the auction has ended but I took a look and that is not a Buck knife. It closely resembles the 119 as Will pointed out but take a look at the blood groove. Too perfect to have been ground in like we do.
I did have another Buckaroo ask me about the knife and I told him that the peculiar thing about it is the handle and pommel. I would bet $$ that Buck did them based on the pictures the guy has in his aution. I would love to inspect the knife up close. Who knows, maybe it was rehandled by Buck? It looks like a late 50's style handle though so the knife would have to be that old.
Who knows.

Buckaroo....good one Joe. Dumbass moves & cut fingers aside, glad to see you still have your sharp wit. :D

Thanks Mike,
Typeing is still a bear and I am still tentative about working on knives at the momment but I am sure that will pass. I really should have a bandaid dispenser on a belt clip next to my Mayo!
