Does anyone here have any experience with Craftsman miter saws? Specifically I need to know which way you turn the bolt holding the blade on to remove the blade.
I got an older Craftsman compound miter saw FREE, and it works perfectly, except the blade is shot. It had been sitting in a basement for a few years, so I there might be some rust binding things up. I have tried using some WD-40, and loosening the bolt, with no luck. I was able to remove it a bit, but the wrench slipped off and I smahed up my pinky pretty badly. Before going at it again, I would like to be sure of which direction i need to turn the bolt. Is it a standard thread, or a left hand thread?
Oh, of course the manual is long gone, and since this saw is probably close to being as old as me I have never seen it. Thanks for any advice you can give me.
