A few months ago I received my first Craftsman stockman, #95068, a 3-9/16" medium stockman with round bolsters, muskrat clip main with sheepfoot nick on the mark side. These all have black sawcut delrin handles with brass bolsters and eagle shield, and stainless blades. I really like the black and "gold" look, as both my high school and college colors were black and gold (Mizzou-Rah!). I strongly suspect Schrade manufacture of these, as they have no visible pivot pins, which suggests Swindon Key construction. These were both made in the late '70s to early '80s.

Today I completed my pair of Craftsman stockmen with the #95066, a 4" large stockman with square bolsters, standard swedged clip main and sheepfoot with nick on the pile side. They make a nice pair. Enjoy!

The pulls and action on these is a very positive 5-6, and the stainless (440?) blades take a very nice edge with little of the "squishy" feeling on the stones that softer stainless often gives. I paid less than $50 shipped for the pair in excellent condition, and to me they seem like a better alternative to either Buck or Old Timer knives, unless of course you prefer the Schrade 1095 steel. Highly recommended!

Thanks for showing that one, Old Hunter. I have seen those for sale, but not being in the same series as my black and brass, I haven't yet pulled the trigger on one. How are the pulls and snap on that one of yours?

I haven't dug this one out and played with it in a while, but I remember it being equal to my old Buck (Camillus) 301 - moderate pull to open and good snap. OH

Very nice & I especially like that smaller one with the rounded bolsters and muskrat clip.

Agreed, jk, a great carry pattern. It's frame and blades are identical to my 98OT, basically the same knife with different "clothes" on.

Nice pair of Craftsman knives. These come from the days when Craftsman was a desirable and reliable brand of tools.

I like Craftsman knives. Here's my Craftsman 9473 small stockman, a rebadged Ulster 89. Same size as the Schrade 108OT.

In my pocket every day since acquiring it. Haven't carried the Schrade since.

I don't know if this qualifies or not.

This old Sears Stockman was passed down to me from my grandfather who passed away in the mid 90's. I haven't done much to clean it up yet other than scour it with some steel wool to get the top layer of rust off. The tang is stamped "Sears / Carbon Steel / USA 95303".

Craftsman knives are Great, I have always liked them, always built well, with relatively basic finishing - as in not too "blingy" - but boy are they good knives!

This is the only craftsmen knife I have. I got it from a gaw a while back. Looks much like your larger one but this one has match strike pull on the main blade so maybe a little older or newer?? Looks like yours have brass bolsters too & this one doesn't.

Nice, jk, not sure if yours is older or newer, but definitely from a different run. How long is it closed?

It is the same as my oldtimer 8OT so 4" & I can't see any pivot pins in the bolsters at all so pretty sure it is Schrade made.
