Anyone have info on these? A lady I know showed me hers today. She says a good friend gave it to her for Christmas when she was 13. I wish I would have asked her if I could take a couple pics of it, but I wasn't thinking. It was a really well maintained knife, and she was very proud of it. It was a real privilege getting to see it.

Edit: Found pics of one like it. The one I saw today was in a lot better condition, but this is one like it.

Could be Schrade made. Schrade, Buck, Marbles, Camillus, and others made knives for Sears over the years.

That's what my dad said. I told him it looks like a big Sharpfinger but with no Schrade markings, just "Craftsman USA" and he told me Sears used to get a bunch of stuff made for them like that. Thanks for the reply.

That looks like a Schrade Sharpfinger or Deerslayer to me depending on size. The Sharpfinger is the smaller of the two.

That's gotta be a Schrade. I've two of the Sharpfinger models that look exactly like that.

It is a Schrade SFO for Sears using the 15OT pattern. If I could see the actual knife and sheath I could estimate the year. Sears bought and sold some of the first made of that pattern in 1964 with the Ted Williams blade etch. The laced sheaths were the earliest. First with a "waffle" stamp pattern. Then with plain heavier leather, then with metal grommets added. The earlier sheaths should have an aluminum and fiber sheath tip protector inside.
