Turns out i was able to get a camera to take some pics of my new hawk doing some work. This is a Craig Barr 5160 hammer poll tomahawk.
This was after about a min of chopping.
Harvesting some fat-wood.

I like the design of this hawk, especially the thickness. It really aids in splitting wood, which is what i usually use a hawk/hatchet for in a camp setting. I will say that i thought it would come with a better edge. Mr Barr's work is well done and I'm sure he has a reason for using a thicker edge, but i would have liked it sharper. I was also a little surprised by the diameter of the hammer(smaller than i thought), but turns out it's a non issue. Overall I am very pleased.
