Turns out i was able to get a camera to take some pics of my new hawk doing some work. This is a Craig Barr 5160 hammer poll tomahawk.

I like the design of this hawk, especially the thickness. It really aids in splitting wood, which is what i usually use a hawk/hatchet for in a camp setting. I will say that i thought it would come with a better edge. Mr Barr's work is well done and I'm sure he has a reason for using a thicker edge, but i would have liked it sharper. I was also a little surprised by the diameter of the hammer(smaller than i thought), but turns out it's a non issue. Overall I am very pleased.

No problem, hope you like em. I should be posting some more pics of my other stuff, since i finally got a camera.

I'm currently looking at a few of his heads on eBay right now, actually - I wish I could order directly from him, but it's his company, and he can choose how he runs it.

I think there may be a bidding war towards the end of the two hammer-polls currently available - the Damascus goes first, then the straight stainless twenty minutes later.

We'll see. :D

I just took my time and watched the bidding. It gets a little crazy for some reason. Got mine for a fair price and then the next day i saw the same one go for double what i paid. If you can be patient a good deal may be had.
