Stag, nickel silver and O1/L6 damascus.

Just for kicks, I gave Craig a small piece of Kevin Cashen's O1/L6 damascus and a small piece of stag to play with. This is what he came up with. This is a small knife, and I will take better pics once I get it. Small enough that there is probably just enough handle to hold onto.

The other side. Again, these were simple scans Craig took with his scanner.

Did I mention that I love this style? Man, I gotta get him to make me a big honkin version now! :)

Thats a sweet looking knife sir.

Have only just recently become aware of Mr. Camerer's work when looking at his karambit designs. Very nice indeed.

Well, I got the dimensions from Craig. The blade is 4.25" from guard to tip, and is 9/16" wide. Handle is 2 3/4" from guard to butt cap end.

Folks, you need to get something from Craig, before he gets too backlogged and his prices go way up.

That's a sweet little piece all right - nicely done. I can second that receommendation for Craig - I've got a bowie on order with him that I'm really looking forward to.

Cheers,

Roger

Thanks for all of the kind comments

Roger,
Are you going to the Blade show?

Dan,
Just send me some more of that wonderful Cashen damascus and one of the many excellant stag tapers I know you are hording and I will put you on the list! :)

Craig, I am working on Roger for the Blade show. He keeps giving me some lame excuse; like WORK or something like that, as a reason why he may not make it. Can you believe it? Somebody would actually put work ahead of knives? :)

That Cashen damascus is some great stuff to work with, isn't it?

Stag? What stag? ;) :D

Hi Craig,

As Dan has already described, in his own inimitable way, it's not looking too promising for me for Blade. :(

Cheers,

Roger

Dan does have a way with words don't he.
The Cashen Damascus was an absolute pleasure to work with.
Maybe I was imagining I saw the tapers.:)
