And the darn thing is, I can't take a knife with me. :grumpy:
My wife got a couple of tickets from her Uncle for her Birthday.
This sucks on a number of levels:
1) I HAVE to go: None of her friends are available. Some friends.
2) IT'S THE FIRST NIGHT OF PASSOVER! This is a big deal for us Jewish types. I'm going to miss the family and friends Sedar. (dinner)
3) I HAVE TO HEAR INDIGO GIRLS MUSIC! :barf:
4) I still can't take a knife with me. :(

Hey man, it could be worse....

Well, ok, I guess you've about hit rock bottom. You have my deepest sympathy!

Hey, look on the bright side... At least YOU didn't actually have to BUY the tix! LOL, Sorry bro, I can admit that they are talented, but not really near my top 10 bands list either. Just suck down a couple of brewskies and enjoy the scenery... the warmer the arena, the more scenery to enjoy, LOL Good thing about the Indigo Girls, LOL, is that mostly women attend. :D:D

Look at the bright side: At least you have a get out of jail free pass if she ever complains about your knives :D

It COULD be worse: You'll know just how much when you see the guy there by himself that came just for the Indigo Girls.

You're assuming they're not the Rosie O'donnel types. :barf:
I think I need to start drinking. NOW! :D

Haha. Good luck with that WM. All I can say is better you than me. :p

If it makes you feel better, I got sucked into going to an upcoming Faith Hill concert with the girlfriend. Still trying to get out of that one......

Actually, yeah, it does make feel better! :p

LOL! I like the Indigo Girls... I grew up on them. My sister in law was friends with them when she went to UGA back in the day so I got to hear a lot of them hanging out in Athens... Then and REM too. Can't say much for their politics but they sound good. I was like 16 before I knew they were... well... playing for the other team. :foot:

I feel for you. Dump some Patchouli oil on your head right now and get it over with. And wear yer Birkenstocks. With kneesocks. You might want to consider a tie-dyed floor-length skirt too. But change into combat boots for that.

I went to one about 20 years ago. Back when they had some mainstream popularity. I listen to that stuff now and think, "Do they even HAVE a clue what life is about???"

Maybe drink some Patchouli oil and hope for a medical deferrment.

If MD13 helped, think of how much I enjoyed it when "we" got season tickets to the ballet. All that saved me was a "rich inner life" and the fact that I could close my eyes and the music was good.

Well, at least it's not Boy George you have to go see.

DD- Don't you just love the "we" stuff? :D

Maqua- That picture made me throw up in my mouth... :barf: :p

Bummer on missing the family seder. I think you should bring a knife -- in case you need to put yourself out of your misery.

Just remember not to bitch too much about it. Since you have to go anyways it'll just piss her off, and eliminate any brownie points you may have earned.

I honestly don't think I'll mind it too much.
Season tickets to the ballet, and we might end up with a divorce, though! :)

Depends. Which "ballet." LOL

Just keep thinking BUSSE as you listen to the lyrics of them songs.

It went to the car door, It chopped down the mountains
It got really dirty so I rinsed it in a fountain
Theres more than one Busse on the forums
That now I could buy
And the less I check my bank for my current balance
The closer I am to buyin!!!!! yeah.
