Nice! Yeah, its addictive.

Now where is the GEC sodbuster? Haha, call me a tease and see what you get :D

What's next on your list?

I have a GEC scout trapper in ebony wood and a case stockman enroute, so I think my next will be a sowbelly. can you suggest any?

I wish my next was a bull nose but we can't all be so lucky :)

The 66 calf ropers are really nice. The single blade easy open 85's just released look promising. Also, saving my pennies for the next run of Bullnose knives.

:)

It's nice to see the explosion of enthusiasm towards traditionals :)
About your paypal...that's just the way it goes when you find yourself speeding down the hill... :D
Congrats for your knives ;)

I know what you mean, Clich! Since the top o' January I've added six traditional type folders to my collection: Case Sway Back Gent, Case Sod Buster, Case Baby Doc, Buck 373 Trio, Buck 379 Solo and my favourite so far... a Buck 55. I now have a total of eight (already had a RR Lockback Canoe and a RR Half-Whittler.)

Congrats on your new pieces! Just try to leave some for the rest of us, eh wot? :D

Ach, tell me about it. I'm not too far behind, or so it seems. One of my sons asked me for a knife for his birthday in December. In looking into something for him my own interest was reignited, and I've added four knives for myself since his birthday. Two are Opinels, but still. Worse (better?!) yet, I'm going to pick up another one for sure on Friday, which was going to be my Last One for now. Lo and behold, and in no small part to perusing this forum, the Case Sway Back Jack (Chestnut, CV) is now also on my radar.

Oh, my.

Very nice collection you have there!

Nice selection y'got there, Clich. I know what you mean about the funds... :D I've been looking at some of my modern stuff and deciding which ones I can do without...

OK let me help you out. This is how I got out of the addiction :rolleyes::rolleyes: and got to enjoyment of what I had. I counted around 30 knives in the picture. I'm pretty sure you have more. Put all 30 knives in your pockets and carry all of them for the next 60 days. Every time you go to buy a new one you will know you have to add it to your pockets. This will become so cumbersome that it will immediately flip you to the other side and you will have everything under control.

(update on myself) I am now carrying 153 knives in my pockets everyday and this has been growing for years but I am right on the edge of getting this thing whipped.

Too funny! I have this mental image of someone with bulging pockets and approximately 19 lbs. (figuring 2 oz per knife, which is on the light side) of knives yanking at their suspenders. If I was an artist I'd have to put this character on paper.

Thanks for the morning laugh Jim!

:) Now, that's just funny, right there!

There is zero control here...you just need to stop and sell what you have. Perhaps you'll have a chance. Keep the Buck 110 and ditch the rest of the steel.
