Crap - just when we've figured out how to easily save the forum info, pruning has already started (and finished) on the General forum :thumbdn:

edit - might be wrong, don't know for sure. Don't know when the cut-off was from the General Discussion to the General Discussion Archive. Still can't find posts anymore in the General that don't have posts in them from 2002 or later... ??

3 years of knife discussion gone for good - what a waste, and for what? One week longer and the whole of Bladeforums could have easily been archived in a zip file that would have fitted on one or two CD's :mad: :mad:

Now I've only managed to save Spyderco & Chris Reeve & Busse
 
Looks like the cutoff was June 1st 2001 - meaning threads that started after that and don't have replies in them from 2002 or later are gone ... FOR GOOD?

The first post in the Blade Discussion forum starts 02-20-2002 and the last one in the BD Archives ends at 02-20-20002. The first post in the BD Archives forum is from 1998?
 
What's missing is posts between June 1st 2001 And Dec 31rd 2001 on the general forum already.
I don't know if the Archive forums are gonna be pruned completely?
 
Makes sense - I would only be happy if I'm wrong - would be nice to know if pruning has started already or when the cut-over to the Archive was?
 
oops - looks like cut over was on 02-20-2002 and both forums still intact

Hey guys, how about not running bandwidth costs through the roof by slurping the entire site plz. I appreciate you all wanting to archive, but geez
