I have a first generation (I don't if they've come out with anymore generations) Vex. The knife is sticky to open. I've tried all of my lubes, losening the pivot screw until the blade wobbles, and about 1000 flicks. It appears that the washers are different, one looks like a standard thick phosphorus bronze washer, but the other on looks like a teflon washer with a very thin bronze washer stacked on top of it. Has anyone had similar sticking problems or replaced these washers?

i still have sticky problems too...and ive had this knife for over 4 months now,,

i have had mine for a while, not sure exactly, mths tho, and no problems.

Mine is the same way--Why two different washers?!? I just live with it for now. I can flick it open by getting my thumb into the hole and giving it a firm flick, which is working for me...try it. You don't notice the "sticking".
