+1 - combine it with an Oku sheath and it should be standard issue in every USA truck that is made. Good Luck

stjones, those look like some fine curls. How well does the crash axe hold that edge?

I've only had that edge on for about two weeks but I haven't been able to beat it off yet!!!
I did a LOT of chopping and splitting last weekend. It was pine and spruce but knotty and the CR pounded through it like nothing and still has a sweet edge.

Just a curious question from a fellow rat. How does the Crash Axe compare to a regular wood hatchet (say GB Wildlife) for choping wood? I doubt I will be chopping into cars and such.

It chops extremely well... It's not gonna beat out a real axe but it can do everything a similar size hatchet or tomahawk can do

I've used mine a ton and never had any edgeholding issues

The new axe looks cool w/o a doubt. However it would likely get used as often as my Ruck, which is never. I don't see the new axe as having the utility functions of the crash axe. It looks more like something to charge into battle with or perhaps board a ship...

Its my old one it looks almost exactly like stjones' crash axe, I posted a pic somewhere... I'll dig it up if I remember when I leave work
