Nice AXE!!!!!

I wanted one of those and now I can't find one. Sterile/BlK that's the ticket.

Thanks for sharing Guyon.

Man, Bill Siegle just sold a nice one with sheath for $175 shipped if I'm not mistaken. I had already given an "I'll take it" on the above axe, or I would have jumped on that one.

They do come up on the Exchange. Keep an eye out. And there may be some more from the Rat Store still.

Nice rig!
What is the large breacher on the bottom?

I love the Crash Rat.
I just scored one a couple of weeks ago from Thatmguy at a Pro show. It is blk/tan. He had another to sell that was the same combo. He is going to be at a show this weekend. Might be an opportunity for you.

Camillus Becker Tac-Tool, also known as the BK-3.

There was a similar, earlier version called the Div-Tul "Navy Seal" dive knife that was put out by Blackjack knives. I have a couple of these as well.

From the (now defunct and non-existent) Camillus website:

With the introduction of the BK&T TACTOOL, there is finally a tool-knife designed for the needs of the Tactical Officer. The TACTOOL was developed in close consultation with John Benner, 20-year field commander of the Hamilton County Ohio Police Association SWAT Team, and President and Chief Instructor of the Tactical Defense Institute.

TACTOOL's smash, bash, pry, hammer and cut. When you leave the battering ram at the door, TACTOOL gives you a fistful of handy power. You can lift stubborn hinge pins, pry open doors and windows, quickly cut "550 cord", hammer glass out of the way, or use it a knife. The blade is finished with a durable reinforced epoxy coat. The sheath is ambidextrous and is compatible with most tactical belts and LBE systems.

Hey Y'all one Q.

What is the blade stock thickness on the Crash Rat??? Is it 1/4" or more?

Thanks ahead,

Russ

Well I bought Seigle's Crash Axe, and now have two-thirds of the same vehicle kit. I can relate to feeling prepared for a "just in case!" But what's the blade/pry bar tool in the photo? Never seen one before.

Camillus Becker BK-3. See above.

I think you're about covered, Guyon! My Crash Rat comes in at 0.2775".

Need to pick up a small nylon bag to keep these handy under the front seat.

I have been contemplating my first try at leather sheath making. The axe sheath ought to be easy relative to a knife sheath.

I grabbed an Okuden sheath. Nice quality - works well. I was thinking about mounting a couple of kydex J-hooks in the rear of the van into which the Crash Rat could slip.

FYI- The jack fits under the front passenger seat. I had a flat the other night - pretty forcibly removing the jack - popped the gauge off the small fire extinguisher under there. White powder explodes in the van! :barf:
