For those of you that have recieved your CR's. Did you expect 5/16 thick? I was very suprised.... I was thinking 1/4... that extra adds alot of weight
 
I haven't received mine yet, so they are 5/16" instead of the advertised 1/4"? :confused:
 
I just received my (4) and they all measured .277" - .282" which included the wrinkle paint. If I remember correctly, it seems like the paint didn't add quite that much to the thickness, but I could be wrong! I did notice though that two had a lighter blonde micarta and the other two had a more reddish micarta. I will post pictures of the differences in a separate thread.
 
I just re-measured mine and it might be almost 1/32" past 1/4", but that's got to be the crinkle coat.
