Crash Rat vs Crash Axe

So is there a difference between the Swamp Rat Crash Axe and the Swamp Rat Crash Rat? Or are they the same axe being referred to in slightly different ways? Furthermore, anyone heard anything about an Infi version from the Busse shop? I hated the Infi custom jobs I've handled, and I like the Crash Rat/Axe, would prefer to pay half again or twice as much and get it in INfi if it's forthcoming in a timely fashion though.

i think the crash rat/axe are the same thing just referred to differently
and as far as i know not made in infi
but there is the pauls hatchet that is made of infi
 
The Crash Axe and the Crash Rat are the same thing, just different ways to refer to it.

Theres no INFI version of the Crash Axe, dunno where you heard such.

Why did you hate the Busse custom knives? Thats a little harsh.

If you expect any of the Busse family blades in a "timely fashion" your in for a world of disappointment.
 
I think he was just talking about the hatchets out of the custom shop Dwayne. :)
 
There is no INFI crash Axe to my knowledge, and I've seen the infi hatchets out of the custom shop, but didn't like them. I was asking if Jerry had hinted recently about an INFI crash axe or maybe talked about the Megaladon again...I think he said something about it MAYBE becoming a production knife back in 2003, but I haven't heard anything about it since then.

There are lots of knives from the Custom Shop that I have liked. The Paul's hatchet and the other axe variants are not included in them though...I have pretty much hated all 3 that I've had a chance to handle.

No such thing as a "Crash Rat." Just one of those things that people mix up, much like when people write SWKW instead of SRKW.

Go look in Papathud's closet, he's probably got a Busse Hatchet and Crash Axe to compare!!

He does not get to go into that gun safe(he has way to many places to hide things and I have been known not to miss a knife I handed to him for many months at a time)
 
Just bought a Crash Rat, anyone have the official specs tucked away somewhere? I'm guessing they're all made of SR101. It's a custom shop version if that makes a difference. Thanks.

For some reason I though it was made of S7 but I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
