I just got a Crawford frame lock knife. it is abotu 10"OAL and has a 4 1/4" blade. A big knife. It's an awesome knife, there's just something about it that makes you want to hold it in your hand.
The only complaint I have is that there is quite a bit of space between the frame and the blade at the pivot, allowing the blade to wobble about, especially when closed. I know that this is the way he does it, but given that there is a realtively large space, I was wondering if I couldn't put a couple of super-thin washers in there, such as the lubricating type found on sebenzas. I think this would make it very solid, and could be easily done, since the pivot pin is a hex-bolt.
any suggestions?
thanks
