As I had posted before I recently purchased one of the small versions. I really like the knife.
I have carried the knife for 2 days and oiled the blade and pivot after each day .
Yesterday after working several night shifts and carrying my MT L-UDT I went back to the CRKT. I noticed some small brown spots on the blade that are just hardly there. Man I'm upset! I use CLP, Sheath and other rust preventatives and lubes and this knife is begining to exhibit some rust on the blade after only 2 days of carry even with extreme care and it has not gotten wet .

What do you guys suggest ?

Hey KIT if your looking what do you think ?

If it's definitely rust, your best choice is probably to take a green scrubber pad or sandpaper to the blade and make your own satin finish. Bead-blasted blades are notorious for this problem. You'll be removing the rust and preventing it from happening again.

Perhaps a faulty heat treat of the blade steel during its manufacturing process...
