Anyone own a custom Crawford Point Guard? I have one and want a driver for the tiny clip screws. They appear to be Torx (six-sided star) but I'm not sure. The smallest Torx driver I can find is a T-6, which is too big. I already tried corresponding with the Crawfords. Any help will be appreciated. Leo G.

You need a T-5. You can find them at Sears or you can get a Benchmade tool kit, which has a T-5 bit up to I believe a T-7 or 9. I don't have mine in front of me.

Thanks Dirk. I pretty much figured it out after looking at my allen wrench set. The .05 will fit in the screws so it seemed logical that I need a T-5. When I called Sears they told me they only had down to a T-9 or something. I can only find a T-6 at Lowe's. I know I can order one from Wiha Tools for $4.40. Gotta keep looking. Any other places carry the small sizes? Anyone?

If the Sears in your area doesn't have the T-5, your best bet would be to through a knife supply company such as Kovals. You can get an entire Torx set from them at a reasonable price. There are other knifemaking supply shops as well. Run a search through Yahoo for knifemaking supplies and you will find several. Harborfreight.com might have them and I know MSCdirect.com will have them. If you don't have any luck, let me know and I'll mail one to you at no chage.

Sincerely, thanks again. I think I'll be ordering a set from Koval's.

This place rocks! Thanks for all your help. I am going to order the 7-piece cellular set from Wiha. It has a T3-T8. I already have some of the bigger sizes. I have another question for you guys. How do you know what size screws they are if you wanted to just purchase new ones? I don't have any idea how to measure the size of them. Thanks again.
