Have any of you seen this model? It was sold to me as a one of a kind from Crawford. The "Crawford" is on the blade, you just can't see it in the pix. I saw it and fell in love with the handle and blade shape, regardless of maker or model. Let me know if you know anything... or what you think

Here is one that is similar from The Custom Knife Gallery Of Colorado. I don't think it's a standard model and my guess is that there were only a few of that design but I could be wrong. The blade on yours appears to be a tanto which is also a bit different from this one.

I just saw that the model is called The Falcon. Normally it has the regular fighter blade and not a tanto.

hey, I wanted to also thank you for the link you provided... and now the name ;) very cool of you. Yeah, I really dig the modified tanto. Between that and the buffalo horn I think I am getting real attached

I actually found it in the archives (sold section) of AZ Custom knives. They had a plain version. I had been thinking about it after I replied the first time and realized it looked more familiar and ive seen the handle shape before. On the Crawford's site they have a fixed blade version somewhere. I think that CRKAT makes a production version with the curved blade. I've never seen one with a tanto like yours.

Crawford does make nice knives. They're is also great on service. I once bought a small gentelman's folder for a friend of mine who is also a fisherman. He once used it on his boat and didn't clean it off, and it got all mucked up. I brought it to a knife show and showed it to the Crawfords, explaining that I'd be happy to pay to have it cleaned up. They took it and returned it a couple of weeks later looking like new and didn't want any payment. Can't beat that.
