whats your strangest/craziest/weirdest trade you have done , either for a knife, or with a knife, and not necassarily knife for a knife.

ive traded a few baseball cards for one before. i also traded a 4 wheeler for guns and knives once.

I traded a guy a Small Sebenza for a brand new in the box 37" lcd flat screen tv.
I don't know how crazy that is but definetly a little unusual.

I traded a white spyderco dragonfly that I dyed OD green and cut the clip off of for a tan Shemagh that my buddy used in Iraq. The knife was probably worth more but the Shemagh has sentimental value to me.

I traded an axe and a pair of shearling boots for a 3/4T chevy once.

kool replies, anymore trade stories guys

formerly dullblades(i messed up my account) had to change my name

-now its hard to find threads im in...lol.

I traded a Desert Eagle .44 Magnum for a 75 1/2 Dodge Power Wagon, never a knife for anything other than knife or watch though...

As a kid, my first knife was a Swiss Army Knife. Not sure which model, it was a medium sized one, about 6 or 7 blades/tools. And I got it for a camping trip.

When the trip was over, I traded the knife away for my friend's Storm Shadow figure. He was very happy, afterwards I kind of regretted it. But today I still have that figure, and its worth more than any Swiss Army knife out there, so in the long run, it was a great trade!

I traded two smith and wesson knives plus a benchmade pika tanto plus a case of beer for a 1858 cap and ball revolver and a darton compound bow with a broken string (came with 5 arrows or so plus a cracked case and a red dot scope)

clearly i live in the south

I count that as a win

Even though I came out way ahead at the time, in hindsight, one of the stupidest was trading a CQC6 for a P7 M8 - I really wish I still had that knife.:(

not really a "trade" but my buddy in the marines offered me two logs of kodiak wintergreen to sharpen his knives before he deployed. his loss. I'd have done it for free.

I traded a Tom Brown Tracker for a Randall Made Knife Model 5 NIB. The only thing is when I shipped the TBT it was stolen on the way. The guy I traded with only got the sheath and paperwork. How is that for a kick in the pants...

traded my slightly used sog seal 2000 for four victorinox saks.
how much more crazier can that get?

I traded a bunch of empty Cope cans for fishing bait during trout season a few times
