Some wild auction action lately:

HOGFSH $900
BM-E $572
RW $299
HH FSH $722

Is there something in the water?

busse's, busse's in the water

that in it's self is a great reason to collect busse's, new or used they are a great investment.

not many things you can collect, fondle, use, abuse and still get your investment back!

right amy? :D

I was thinking of bidding for the HOGFSH but got a heart attack when I saw the bid price 4 hours before auction ended

I saw those prices too, and yes, they are insane. I wouldn't get close to any of them...no way. And by my way of thinking, that's exactly why I should hang on to my Busses and SRs -- never know when you're going to need one to dispatch one of those crazies who comes up behind you and wants some. :)

Well some nut paid $300 for a Spyderco that was listed in two buy it now listings for $154. And there had to be more than one nut to get the price up that high.

maybe they dont know about the fs threads here. i know i have overpaid a few times just getting caught up in the auction. especially toward the end.

all it takes is two of the right people at the right time coming across their ideal knife. I often just watch items to see how crazy bidding gets.

I'm sure I could have gotten more over there on eBay, but I'd rather sell them her to people I know for a better deal.

:D

Just another good reason to buy Busse knives even if you never use them. Aftermarket prices are so high that you can retire on selling them.

Some lucky HOG just scored a BM-E on ebay for $350... I was a few seconds late :(
