Off Topic Crazy Complicated and Involved

Wow. That looked tedious, but it turned out nice. I can’t imagine doing that for 11 hours and having them all unravel in the end.

I’ve got to be honest, when I clicked the link to your “most complicated project” I was hoping to see pictures of a you making a slip joint. Did I hear rumors of that?

Hey Sacto good to hear from ya, hadn't seen ya around in a while. That's the rumor. Gonna happen, gonna happen, gonna happen...…...

I get pulled away from time to time, but I’m still around. Kids and holidays and calving out a couple hundred heifers have been occupying most of my time and energy lately.

I’m glad to hear the slip joint is still in the works, I’ll be interested to see them. Hopefully it doesn’t become the new most complicated project. I’m sure you have plenty of cowboy buddies (and relatives), but if you end up with a prototype you need field tested...

Aw heck I'm already making em a bigger deal than they probably are. Was fixing a pair of chinks for a guy the other day, he'd busted a leg strap. As soon as I opened the box he'd shipped em in I said "Oh you've been calving". That smell stays with a pair of leggings.

Why in the traditional forum?

Simply for those (here in the traditional forum) that have admired our work over the years, leather as well as knives.

Thanks guys, Ernie1980 and Afishhunter.

Dave, your craftsmanship with knifemaking and leatherwork is quite impressive. Anything that someone can make with their hands these days is admirable.

Great work!
