You guys may have noticed I havent been around much lately. Well lots of stuff happening.

The biggest, most time consuming of these things was the birth of my new son. He came a bit earlier than expected and made for an exciting and scary few hours. In the end it all worked out fine.

My new son, Hawk Gerald Reckner, was born Thursday morning at 12:19am. He weighed in at 7lbs 12ozs and was 20 inches long.

Momma and baby are now resting comfortably at home and all is well. May have a few things to deal with over the next few weeks due to the way it all went down but as of now all is good. The other three kids are helping out as much as they can. Sometimes perhaps a bit too much but they are excited so I cant be to rough on them. LOL

Just wanted to share with my knife family what was happening and to let folks now that I am not ignorring emails and messages it has just been kinda hectic and I will get caught up as soon as I can.

Congrats on the new baby!!! I never thought my life would change so much as it did when my little guy arrived.

I hope the things you have to deal with end up being minor. Best wishes to you and yours!
