Crazy idea for a SOG

Hello. First-time MT buyer here. I love the SOG Powerlock S60's features and locking tools, but I wish the screwdrivers were a bit longer. Are the screwdriver tools themselves also stainless? I would try modifying their shafts, ala welding, to make them as long as possible while still fitting. There might be other ways of doing it, too, but has anyone actually welded a SOG for any reason and if so did it warp/damage the tool at all? Thanks.

I wouldn't worry about modifying any tools, waste of time and you could screw something up. I would just use the 1/4 inch driver that comes on the powerlock and rig me up a socket that can take long shanked screwdriver bits that you can buy in hardware stores, that way you get what you want and it's a heck of alot easier.

SOG already provides this bit adapter.
