15 inch 21 ounce AK by the whiz kid who has earned high marks from his field reports to date. Good solid work. Only thing I can find unusual about his rig is it's equipped with a mil style frog. If you don't like it let me know and I'll send a standard frog. 1/2 price + shipping for 10/10 work = $75 delivered to your door.

Here's an 18 inch 30 ounce AK by the old master, Bura & company. It's the usual 10/10 effort we have come to expect from the Royal Kami. The karda and chakma are worth more than the asking price of 1/2+shipping which works out to be $72.50+$12.50=$85 delivered to your door.

Another by Bura & company -- 18 inch and 27 ounce WWII. Two things wrong: A scratch on the handle which you can polish out if 5 minutes and the chakma has a fill in the handle which I think you can see in the pix. Bura used his own Bura crafted epoxy for filler. Use as is or cover with layer of black epoxy for perfect appearance. Another 1/2+shipping at $85.

20 inch 22 ounce quick as a cat Kobra by Bura & company. He and his boys have been busy little bees as of late. Perfect execution by Bura. Can't find a thing wrong with entire rig but it still goes for 1/2+shipping which works out to be $75 delivered.

Call or email. If you hurry will ship today. Otherwise they'll fly tomorrow.

Some of those Cobras look a little strained, like it's been too long between meals; this one looks well fed but still ready.

I'm just a little giddy here writing advertising text for Khuks...

At first I thought the Kobra was a Gelbu Special - maybe wishful thinking on my part. The only thing keeping my wallet intact is that I haven't had the time to give my last two purchases, an 18" Sher WWII and a 15" Shankar AK, proper workouts.

I have used the WWII a bit - just blasted through some soft pine. Great handle, great balance, great leverage. I'm almost sorry that my 18" AK is in Sarge's care, because I think the WWII would perform better. As it is, I can't compare, but I know the AK is off doing bigger jobs. The WWII may be my new favorite khuk - slim like a sirupati, but a deeper belly like an AK.

The Shankar AK is built like a tank. Even burlier than the Sher, which is sort-of ironic, because I got it to be a lightweight packing around khuk. Fullers are a little shallow, compared to the Bura AK's I've had. Handle is good. I need to chop some wood to see if it speaks to me.

I am resisting your evil powers of persuasion, Uncle Bill. That Kobra is calling my name, but I'm not listening. Nope, not listening one bit.(Please, someone buy it quickly before I call my wife and beg like a spoiled little child)

Josh, I tried to call my wife and beg like a spoiled child, but no one picked up the line at her work station.

I therefore was forced to act like a man and buy the Movie Special anyway.

I know she'll be very pleased.

Ok, I just called and begged like a spoiled little child, and it still didn't work:( anybody have any tips on throwing tantrums?

Josh, get ahold of yourself. Tell her you are serious, that the factory is being built in the next 6-8 weeks only and NOW is the time for special deals. Tell her if you wait till Christmas it'll cost double or more.

Ask her to take out a portion of your Christmas spoils.

Tell her you'll wash her car for 8 months.

Tell he you didn't object when she bought all that crap for the house and your bedroom.

Me is broke !!

Geeze why now ??

Good thing is that I'm moving in to my new house next friday !!

Bad thing is - no money for Khuk's.

How about a little color correction?

Images removed.

I was probably killing the download speed for a bunch of folks.

I'll tell you what, UB, these are beautiful deals. If I had any extra funds right now I would jump on one or two of these. I'm still recovering from the expenses of my trip to Ft. Benning. Don't give up on us, UB.

Ben

Ben, believe me, Uncle isn't going to give up on us. He's flat out counting on us! He knows our goose is cooked.

( Like a heroin pusher is giving up on his clients by selling them 2 fer one? That's not giving up, that's " an investment in his business! " )
:p :p :p

I'm supposed to be lurking for smallfry, but the M43 that went in less than 20 minutes this morning sorely tempted me, anyway. That thing was beautiful.

I like the look of the 15" AK above. If I hadn't just bought a different 15" AK last week, I'd have probably picked it up, too.

DR - 20 minutes is an ETERNITY for an M43. The half-life of an M43 on this forum is under three minutes.

Munk - Now you sound just like me: Be the man, buy that knife! :D

A BIG thank you to whomever snagged that Kobra! You saved me from a lot of grief from my wife...If not me, then you saved Josh some heartache.

And if you got it Josh...it'll be worth it...I hope. :D
