Usual top notch scabbard and frog by village sarki. Pala says get the cash and let this go for 1/2+shipping= $87.50 delivered to your door. UBBB.

Nice!! Like that BGRS. Don't have a BGRS or a GRS. Somebody grab these up! Sher does real good work.:D

Sher's blades are excellent but his handles are better. I give him the edge over Kumar and will say he makes the best handle of any kami at BirGorkha and I doubt there's a kami in Nepal who can make a better handle -- maybe as good but not better.

Bill, many months ago you said Kumar made the best handles- maybe horn handles. Then Sher started producing top flight work and you modified this to Sher and Kumar make great handles. Has Sher won the handle war?

Good thing his brother returned to fire him up.

.. ...

These specials are crazy. Every day I want a new khukuri.

As of late I think Sher has emerged as best handle maker. He's been on a roll, doing everything right.

I have three khukuris by Sher-- 18" AK with wood handle, and a BAS and M43, both with horn. Great handles and great big beefy blades. I'm trying really hard not to imagine what the blades in this thread would look like in my Sher collection since I have no khukuri funds right now.

THAT'S MASSIVE !!!

Is that AK designed for titanium-cutting? Or just your average Hercules khuk?

hmmmm....'bout 45 minutes from up to down. Me thinks we're getting back into frenzied form after a bit of winter torpor.

Looking at what went up, I'm not surprised. I'm glad someone grabbed the GS.....beautiful blade with eminently wood-chuckable handle.
