crazy para 2 m390 ebay sale

New to the forums but really enjoy all the useful information on here.
I was blown away today when a m390 para 2 i was watching on eBay sold for $400. Ive got a few knives that are in that price range and i think the m390 para 2 is great but I just couldn't justify that for a production folder. I know they are limited to bentobox but do you guys really think that it should command that high of a price or is it just the eBay gougers capitalizing.

I've had a few M390, but I sold them earlier. Prices for the better steels seem to keep rising. I'd much rather have my three in s90v back again.

That's pretty much the high end of market price for the M390 PM2. They sell for anywhere from 300-400 on the exchange. It's one of the more desirable and less accessible of the PM2 limited editions. After than the two carbon fiber models this one seems to be the hardest to get right now (followed by the CTS-20CP and CTS-XHP models).

Yeah I understand people will make money were they can that's understandable I'm just more taken back that people would pay that much for it. I'm personally gonna wait it out and hopefully score one from bento box if they ever get that next run.
