If you have them to take a new picture, I'm looking for a straight on (camera perpendicular to the ground, preferably zoomed in a little to reduce wide angle distortion) with the talon holes lined up.

tank buster (preferably choiless)
boss jack (preferably choiless)
Sjtac
3rd gen sj

Just out of curiosity :). the choiless boss jack is much heavier than i expected. Is the satin/convex/le(ish) version heavier or lighter in the hand then the cg grooved version?

Thank you in advance for any replies :thumbup::thumbup:

The full convex is a bit lighter feeling in the hand than the fuller versions, the balance of the fullered BJ is just at the talon hole, the convex is a little back from that, almost to the first finger

Here is a SJTAC and a choil-less Tankbuster:

interesting... the profiles are much closer than I thought they were. definitely a project for when I have more money and can have it just to have it.

I basically traded my tank buster for the le(ish) proto boss jack and while I don't regret it, I do wish I had been able to handle them side by side. This I feel like I have a solid use for, it's perfect for batoning and could actually be edc'd in a high ride sheath. The tank buster was a bit to big for edc and a bit to small for chopping.

The boss jack just begs for the same mod as the sar5 shown here (butt cut off and blade shortened). Compactification for the sake of edc:

I don't think I'll switch from the sus scrofa for edc because of thickness. the boss jack is pretty thick at .220 or whatever it is o_0

I couldn't get it to balance on it's own, but this is the point where if tipped in either direction it would drop to that side.
