Okay guys lets hear about the "rough and wild" places you took your favorite Spyderco.

The wife and I went on a white water rafting float this summer in Northern Maine. My Sage II went with me clipped right in my pocket. When everyone else was trying to cut their steak or chicken at the lunch beach with a plastic knife...guess who was slicing and dicing?? :D:D:D

I love my Sage II like few other knives I've ever owned. I'm the fat guy in the forground with sunglasses.

For those that do not know, that second image is from Disney World (on my Birthday), my son was trying to retrieve a larger knife for my pocket...he REALLY wanted to get me a nice birthday present.

With the exception of the airplane ride...I am not sure I have been anywhere in the past year that I did not have a Spyderco with me...but I do not go to many really crazy places.

I even have a Spydeco clipped in my shorts in my profile picture above (the same Pacific Salt as in the first thumbnail)

I use to carry my old stainless Endura and Co-Pilot on the plane all the time  Both domestic and international. Of course, that was mostly in the 1990's.

I brought my Manix 2 to Virginia beach, while walking on the beach. Luckily it didn't go in the water with me, that mighta turned out bad

Mine so far have just been in the deer woods.....

Also, not to thread jack but OP....Isn't water rafting supposed to involve a raft?

I carried my Centofante III at Myrtle Beach for a week. Clipped it inside the waste band and took it in the water every time.

I wasn't being over cautious worrying about needing a self defense knife. I actually wanted to see how the knife would handle salt water and sand. Held up great. No rust.

I took my FRN Dragonfly to Golden Colorado a few years ago to meet Mr. Glesser.

I brought a Para 2 to my stepdad's grand child's birthday party.
I busted the toys out of their clam shell packaging.

A lot of talk but only 3 pictures and I'm not ready to be part of the problem!

I took my M4 Military to the SUN

Real men don't need no steenkin raft.:D

And I don't think rafting is a crazy activity at all, pretty normal around here, I've had my own boat for almost 20 years now.

I had my SS Native, combo edge - clipped inside my jacket when I got married @ the Bellagio in Las Vegas.

I have had a Sage 2 or Manix 2 clipped to a flightsuit pocket for various flights in the mighty T-34C.

Let's see....one guy walked on a beach....one guy went to a birthday party...one guy went to Denmark....one guy went on a plane.

Not really the unusual places I had in mind. Sorry for the thread actually. I thought it might be interesting but it turned out mostly sarcastic.
