Crazy SAR5 question...

I missed out on the SAR 5 ganza, and was thinking of buying one now that the prices have dropped. I thought I remember reading somewhere that not all of the SAR 5s were made from INFI, that some were SR101? Am I right or really confused? If right is there any way to tell the difference other then using them? Thanks.

They are all INFI, and a great knife. They fill the BAIII niche nicely, and in my opinion offer some improvements. An example of one of the improvements would be the slight downward cant of the handle, it's much more ergonomic than the straight handle for both slicing jobs and push cut jobs.

I think the SAR5 will be a classic in a few years.
