Create a custom 193 Alpha Hunter®

Goose,
Unfortunately for me the answer is no. I'm a little disappointed that Buck didn't choose a more common fixed blade knife for the custom shop. Can you imagine the number of orders they would get if they offered those options for the 119 or the 124? Now that would be cool!

Cool beans to hear from you Mike!!!
And, yes, if it was a 119 or 124, I'd be all over it!!!! Thinking others too.

I got one. Gut hook with a stag elk handle. One of the best knives I've ever had.

Thanks for the reply :)
Got pics?

Woah, a custom 119 or 124! I would be on that like white on rice.

It's got a surprisingly great balance for me. Each side of the handle comes from the same horn and don't match, which gives the knife a great characteristic. As far as staying sharp, it keeps a great edge. I don't believe there is anything that I don't like about this knife. Honestly, I like it better than my 119.

I've been eyeing the custom shop FB, but I too think that a different model may be more appealing.

I must say, however, that Cgusek111's knife is a fine looking piece. It's good to hear it works well for you, Cgusek111.

:)

Possibly the reason for a more obscure model is to keep from being inundated with custom orders?
