Down in Cincinnatti this weekend with my daughter to visit her up coming in-laws, gettin' married in August, will be here sooner than we know !
There is a Creation Museum near by, just down in Kentucky, so we took the drive there and visited it today. It's pretty interesting to visit, it's not an inexpensive visit, adults are about $25 each, but my wife had always wanted to visit it so we took the opportunity, glad to have gone, but it wouldn't be a return visit, but as I say, interesting, and it covers a large area, there is also a petting zoo for the kids, and some other outside things too as well as a planetarium which does cost more to visit, but we didn't take that one up.

They have a lot of nice exhibits, here are a few images shot there today;

They had a short video there called Men in White, pretty well done, the theater had seats that shook ya and wind that rushes around you as things happen during the video, well done there.

Can't say I was at all impressed by my visit there (botanical gardens were nice, though). I'd much rather pay less and get more at the natural history museum in Cincy.

Didn't get to see that, wife was tired so we took our leave and headed back to the hotel and a bite to eat.

Looks pretty interesting. My boy is but 3 and he loves dinosaurs but we'll have to see those in NYC at Natural History.
Probably won't be visiting Kentucky anytime soon.
Who's the Asian fella?

There are LOTS and lots of dinosaurs to be seen there, more than I took time to photograph, which btw I used a Canon point and shoot to capture them without flash, not bad in not too handy of light. The snake was shot through a glass plate, came out better than I hoped it would, although it's a bit scary an image.

The Asian fellow, from the narrative as I recall it, the first fellow is speaking and said that while he was digging for fossils with a Biblical point of view, his associate was also digging but in a more science point of view, with both working on the same type of thing but each reaching different conclusions. To be certain, this museum is with a Christian viewpoint on creation.

Thank you for posting this up. I've been wanting to visit the museum for a few years now. As well as the Holy Land Experience theme park in Orlando Florida.

Well there is always controversey and as this was not intended to be that type of thread I'll close it up to help keep things even keel.

As a last note, the dinosaurs debate, Christians hold that the time line is not millions of years.
Thanks for checking the thread out and I'll leave each to search on their own
