Credit Card or EDC Recommendation

This is my first post here, so bear wirh me. I know almost nothing about knives.
I was looking at a SOG Credit Card knife. What do you think of it? I'm looking for a small EDC knife with a clip so it doesn't always fall to the bottom of my pocket. My Leatherman Wave is great, but it is way too heavy to carry all the time.
My budget is under $50 for this item. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You can find a Spyderco Navigator at the Smokey Mountain Knife Works web site for $ 29.99 give or take a few cents. I have several realitively small EDCs with clips and the Navigator ranks up there with any of them These cost $30.00 more before Spyderco placed them on close-out status.

A credit card knife will not be as convenient as a more traditional knife. It has compromises to get that thin shape.

Spyderco makes some great knives in your price range. If you don't ever want to learn how to sharpen own your knife, the Spyderco Delica with serrated edge is awesome. Otherwise, there's the plain edge (non-serrated) Delica. Both are $44. Also, Spyderco has the Dragonfly, another great knife, a little smaller and more benign-looking. It is also available in plain and serrated edges.

The Navigator that Trane mentioned is also a really good little knife, but I recommend filing down (just a bit) a little hump on that knife that tends to hit the back of your hand when you put it in the pocket.

Enjoy - you will love having a knife clipped to your pocket. :)

JohnnyLightOn is correct about the Delica and the Dragonfly. I own them both and they are excellent knives. I mentioned the Navigator based on the price as well as it's qaulity. Which ever way you go, you won't go wrong with a Spydie.

Meerkat(love mine), Navigator, Cricket, Delica, Native, Merlin, Dragonfly ... all "small" and available under $50USD...

I'm thinking about the advice to file down the humb on the nav blade. I got the nav-style meerkat, and the humb hit me every time.

as to creditcard type knives, the SpyderCard is a great one. I bought mine in June, still working on factory edge. used all summer and stroped(they grabbed my stone at the kit checks) to maintain the edge.
