I chopped of the Metal spike for a few reasons, social acceptance and didn't want to spike myself are probably the two main ones. So now I play with the gunstock club in am more FMA style. The great thing about it is you take it to the park and on walks and its just a cricket bat or a funny looking bat, My son and I have used it a few time messing around in the park hitting the ball around.
The other pic is my African walking stick, that ball for the head is pretty big so I rounded it some, helps but still have to take off some more. Took that jogging with be attached to the jogging stroller, never know with a loose dog or dingo will try to get you baby.

Or.....CS could come up with a polypro cricket bat too...Maybe the Melbourne Masher to complement the Brooklyn Smasher. That way if if isn't dogs trying to get the baby, you can always fight off the dingos. Seriously, why isn't there a cricket bat out of this stuff? I use their dragon cane when I walk around in the rain and I enjoy flinging the boomerang at my old heavy bag out back to make a satisfying thump. I sometimes miss and hit the black walnut tree it is attached to, and all the boomerang gets is scuffed. I would totally geek out (and buy) a cricket bat out of the same material.
