A buddy gave me a beat up cricket. He told me that years ago he had taken the knife apart in order to clean it. Well, my buddy wasn't able to put the knife back together and ended up losing some of the screws. Is there any possibility of finding screws online? I'll try to post some pictures when I have the chance. The knife is made out of what looks to be a black aluminum handle and is labeled "Spyderco G-2 Stainless."

The Almite coated aluminum Cricket hasn't been made in over a decade, so Spyderco is unlikely to have parts. Your best bet would probably be to look around online for someone offering a "variety pack" assortment of small metric screws. You could also check locally at hobby shops, especially those catering to R/C and railroad modelling.

Why not just re-thread that? Then it will be easier to get the screws

I have had luck at the local hardware store. It took over an hour going through lots and LOTS of small drawers. The ones I got were too long but it was easy to regrind them.

Don't give up, screws are not complex machines. You will find a fit soon enough.
