Crickets and CustomHandle Material

Sal - I have 4 different handles on my Crickets: Black Plastic, Pink Plastic, Almite and Carbon Fiber. I have seen the Recuperized Spyderco Crickets. I will buy one. Spyderco could do cost effective variations, I would buy at least one of each (G10, Bone, Colored Plastics, Micarta, etc...) What do other collectors think. rr

Rico, I too would love to see other options on the Crickets as well as other Spydies but I think they would be too costly to see production. Why don't you just send some to Recupero and have him do the work. He does a great job. I had a cf Cricket fileworked by him and it turned out very well. I have had other knives customized by him and he is the best in the business. Wish I could learn to do some of that filework I would love to see some more colors in the Cricket line (blue, red, yellow).

I would like to see other options as well. I would especially like to see a titanium or G10 handle using a framelock or maybe a lockback. I know I keep repeating this one Sal but I really love my Crickets. The handle shape is great and the size is perfect for 90% of the things that I need them for every day.
