It's a weird name, but it's all I got. I think the blade shape is just touch Argentinian Criollo shaped. I could be entirely wrong, and it wouldn't surprise me at all. Let me run with it, please.
The blade is 9" of Crucible CPM-3v, .200" thick, with a beveled spine and squidgey bit under the ricasso, and ground to a very fine edge. There is a small simple oval stainless steel seppa, and a carbon fiber guard with a fluted edge. The handle is frame handle construction of Terotuf, with cream rayskin and resin-soaked carbon fiber lace. The knife weighs 11-5/8 ounces.
The saya is suede lined, and carbon fiber over an aluminum frame, and has resin soaked carbon fiber lace for 'sageo'.
This is this year's Blade Show 'show and tell' knife for me, so I should have it on me as I'm wandering hither and yon. Hope to meet some of you there!
Thanks for looking.
