Dear Sirs

Today was a very important Day of my life an I like that you take part of it.

Daughter Nele was christened today and Carina and I had our church marriage.

And that nobody is able to say this post is "off topic": I carried the Buck 111 at my belt.

It was a great Day! Nobody of the guests knew that the marriage will happen.
That was a great surprise for all, especially the members of the families.

I am very lucky!!

Thank you for reading!

Best regards,
Herbert

For the topic :D ;) :)

Congratulations pal! I'm happy for you. Not everyone is lucky enough to have a nice 111.:D

I am new here, but that is a great story!!! I am so glad I looked in!! Much happiness, to all of your great looking family!

:)...Herbert...What a great day for you and your loved ones. Congratulations on a fine day indeed.

Congrats also! And just why are you here on the forum on such an important and joyous day?? :)

Congratulations Herbert and Carina!
Wonderful news on Nele too, Herbert!
Fine choice for nuptual wear with the 111 on the belt. While I may tend to favor a 124 white micarta for such an event as a wedding, I do often 'overstate' things...LOL!

Carina and her parents are on the way to visit her brother. He is very ill and couldn't come to the marriage. So I have a look at the kids and use the possibility to come in and tell what happens. :D

Absolutely great pic's!

Beautiful wife and daughter, your a lucky man.

Nice sheath for that 111, did you make it?

Guys, here I come to the limits of my horrible school English. I am not able to translate what I think. This is a great family here and its wonderful to be a part of it an I am looking forward to meet some of you in Idaho. And I hope that the actual dispute will be forgotten when I start to cross the big pond.

Thank you very much for your kind words.

GD, I had the white one in my hands but I saw Carinas eyes saying are you crazy?, so I took
the 111 and I think it was a good choice.

Bear Claw, no, I didn't make the sheath, it is signed with "Handmade by CHIRICAHUA"

Best,
Haebbie

Yes, Herbert, you made the right choice  It is nice to know we were thinking alike! Perhaps that is why you made things 'official' today and I have never been institutionalized.....in marriage! ;)

Excellent post Herbert!

Beautiful family and a quality knife!

Your daughter will treasure and pass that knife to her children and their children. An excellent heirloom (family keepsake)
