CRK 21 on the way and I am pumped!

I just want to share my happiness that I have a 21 on the way. Lightly used from the end of 2012 to not hurt my wallet as much. I am sharing so I can stop bothering my wife for the night.
This is the only CRK I have not tried. While I know the ceramic ball lock is great. I just dont care for it. I know that the CRK integral lock is time tested. The 21 has always been the best looking to me. I dont know why I have not tried it in the past.
For the most part I think the over built tactical idea has passed for me. Ive used every knife on the market that I have ever been interested in except this one. As an EDC, I love a great slicer. I am sure this will do the trick. I will tac it out with some Digi Camo Coarse scales and a leather sheath.

Congratulations, can't wait for the Picts. I'm jealous. I'll have mine this summer. Enjoy.
 
Im sure I will, Ive been loving my Manix XL for slicing. And I gave up my ZT knives . They were just a bit too much. I love the simplicity of the 21. I will make a dozen handles in different materials. I want to see what it looks like in different clothing.
It is my early anniversary present. My wife and I have lucky number two this friday!

Tomm evening after it comes in. I will post some pictures with some of the materials that I will be using. It will be fun. A good ending to a Root canal in the morning. After that I am meeting a local leather worker I ran into on ebay. He happens to live one town over from me. I will be exchanging info from the forums and my work to try and get him on here.
Anyway. Feels like X mas eve.
 
Congratulations Brother!! I know exactly how you feel!! Every time I get a new to me CRK I have a Chris Matthews moment!! But mine is real!! lol lol that doesn't sound right does it.. :D

AHHHHHH! I just got back from meeting a local leathermaker and knife collector. He happened to give me a 21 sheath to try out.

I just got home and my 21 is here! I am blown away. I have handled every framelock ive ever wanted. And just played with my bud mikes wharny hinderer and SNG from yarg. It makes me realize how awesome this knife is. Rock solid lock up at 40% with a hard clack. I am just speechless. Ive never had that happen out of a box. It usually takes time for it to grow on me. But this is immediate love. I cant wait to personalize this.

I will post pics later, On my way home 3 inches of snow fell in about 1 hour so I have to head out and do errands before it gets worse.

This thing is bad as#. My only question is, does he make the screws in house. EDIT.He did make some of them. I just ordered up some back up screws to have.
I should have some pics up in a few hours with the sheath this guy let me use.
He is an artist for sure.
