How's it going folks, I don't post in this sub often and I didn't see much in th search, aside from the linked thread below.

Anyone heard anything about the CRKT Birler?
Blade: 1055 carbon steel
HRC: 50-55
Handle: Tennessee hickory wood
Blade length: 5.2 in (13.1 cm)
Blade thickness: 1.1 in (2.8 cm)
Overall length: 16 in (40.6 cm)
Weight: 25.2 oz (714 g)

How does this look to compare to other tools in its size range?
What other tools would be direct competitors (size wise)?
Does anyone have any other hands on experience?

No hands on experience, personally, but reports I've read say that they often have loose heads and the handle shape could be better. They come thick and blunt in the edge, but are said to perform well once thinned out.
