Glad they changed to the new boxes, but does anyone have the secret on how to fold up the towel and get it back into the box without messing It up.

I've just decided that I'm not going to do it. I'm going to keep it separate in a ziploc sandwich bag and rubber band them together.

The original ones (lighter blue) were folded in half, then into thirds. The newer, darker ones are similar, but on the thirds part you need to leave a gap on the first fold so that the second fold sets the size. However, even if you get it right it takes a little jamming to make go back in that box!

In all cases, the embossed Chris Reeve logo is on the outside, of course.

I think the secret lies in the small piece of foam you put on top of the stuff.
I'm afraid you got to buy another knife and look for yourself how it's done.
;)

There is no secret, it takes a 4 year degree in aerospace engineering, a 2 year degree in mechanical engineering in order to understand how on God's green earth it is so tightly packed.
Talk about shoving a quarter through a dime slot, CRK has proof they can do it.

Ok so it's not just me.

Regardless I am sticking with the ziplock bag approach to avoid me jacking up the boxes.

I have not figured out how to get them back in either! I tried the last time I sold one and just ended up adding it separately...

I never unfold mine for fear of not being able to get it back in the box. Lol The trick is to figure out which way is up when you slide the foam inside the box to be able to close it.
