Hey I have a quick question to ask about the kinds of services that CRK provides on folders sent back for work. I have two that I am sending back tomorrow that need work on the blades and handles. First the small 21 insingo micarta needs some scratches removed from the blade and the scales/micarta. The second is a 25 that has some wear/scratches in the blade. Both of these knifes have been users but the damage is not really significant. They are mostly cosmetic in nature. Can CRK repair these types of items? And I'm not to worried about any fees associated with this work. I'm hoping some of the more seasoned CRK guys on here will be able to fill me in a little better.

Neither knife has any real damage to them and if they were going to stay as users for me I would have no problem leaving just the way they are. But I am going to hand these over to some old friends that have been admiring them for a long time so I want them in great shape. Thanks!

They can make it look like new by tumbling the blade and bead blasting the handles. No worries.

^^^what he said. :p

I know it's free to blast the handles if it's a plain Ti handle. Not too sure on the inlays, though. And, the retumbling of the blade is $30

I'm pretty sure you will not be able to get the micarta handle re blasted. That is only for the plain ti handles. Customer service there is unparalleled.

You have awesome character on the knives now. Consider leaving them be.

Unless you want them looking new again which they do very well.

I think that CRK will re-blast the scales with micarta inlays. They just wont blast the scales if it is a wood inlay.

Thanks for the replys and the answers are what I expected. And for the small cost of the work and return shipping it will be money well spent to see the look on my friends faces when they get their hands on these babies.
