I know CRK discourages against wrist flicking open any of their knives. Do they also discourage just thumb flicking knives open?

Search is your friend.
Look for things said by people officially representing CRK.

This is a tired topic. Everything can be found by searching.

Search the million posts on this very same topic as its been beaten to death.....lol. NO Wrist Flicking. THUMB Flicking Is Fine....!!!

What the others said and if I may add; the beauty of CRK is that you get to enjoy the smootness of the opening action plus the "click" sound at the end, flicking doesn't make much sense to me at least not on a CRK.

my bad guys, didnt realize there had been so many threads on this topic! I just remeber hearing bout the wrist flicking thing a while back but never read up about it!
thanks:thumbup:

Buy tacticool knives to flick. They are cheaper and will give you that thrill. Sebenzas are designed for other reasons.

I personally like the "hydraulic feel" of opening it without flicking;)

If you want a fast deploying weapon, CRK is not your knife.

if you need a fine cutting tool, crk fits the bill just nice.

Chris Reeve does encourage one strong flick when assembling a Sebenza to make sure everything is seated properly.
